The Christmas season is a busy time for Lindsey Stirling.

The Christmas season is a busy time for Lindsey Stirling.

For the past three years, the violinist has danced into the holidays with her annual Christmas tour. The pandemic has halted that tradition in 2020, but Stirling has found a couple of ways to keep busy.

On Monday night, the “Dancing With the Stars” runner-up takes the stage with Darius Rucker for the “CMA Country Christmas” special, according to a news release sent to the Deseret News. The two will perform their duet of “What Child is This?” that they released over Thanksgiving weekend.

Stirling previously released a solo version of the Christmas song on her 2017 album “Warmer in the Winter.” Less than two weeks after performing the new version for the CMA Christmas special — which airs at 8 p.m. MT on ABC — Stirling will put on a livestream “Home for the Holidays” show complete with “stylized sets, talented dancers and glittering costumes,” according to the news release.

The virtual Christmas show — featuring Angels We Have Heard On High,” “All I Want For Christmas,” “Let It Snow” and “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy” will stream Dec. 12 at 1 and 6 p.m. MT.
